The register key raises a note by a twelfth (an octave plus a fifth), not by an octave as on other woodwinds. From B4 upward, think “low-register fingering plus register key”.

Looking up every note of a piece in a chart is slow. Yubioto reads a photo or PDF of your sheet music, puts the fingering under each note and plays the melody back. Free, no account, nothing to install.
No, and the E♭ and bass clarinet use the same fingerings too. Only the sounding pitch changes: B♭ clarinet sounds a major second lower than written, A clarinet a minor third lower, bass clarinet a major ninth lower.
What does the register key do?
It raises the note by a twelfth (octave plus a fifth), not an octave. Low E (E3) plus the register key gives B4.
What are the throat tones?
G4 to B♭4, played with almost all fingers off. They tend to sound thin, so many players add right-hand fingers (“resonance fingerings”) to stabilise them.
Why are there pinky keys on both sides?
Low E, F, F♯, G♯ and their twelfths can be played with either pinky. Choose the side that avoids sliding the same pinky between two keys.
